Happy Halloween: Beware the Saison of the Witch is Out There!

Elysian Brewing and Seattle restaurateur Tom Douglas have brewed up this one to pair with the restaurants fall harvest menu items. Brewed with 120 pounds of roasted Baby Pam pumpkins picked in eastern Washington along with fennel fronds to add to the aromatic nose, this Saison has a light pumpkin taste with just a touch of sourness. It’s nothing crazy nor anything to write home about. It’s a typical light Halloween Saison that we’re guessing needs the Tom Douglas food pairings to really shine.
